The index is a fixed basket of top-grade, high-liquidity cards across Pokémon, One Piece, sports and vintage. Prices are taken from realised auction and marketplace sales — not asking prices.
Readings are published monthly and the methodology is public, so anyone can check how a level was reached before relying on it.
